Hello, this is my first grow. I grew two Northern Lights Autos from Vision Seeds. They sprouted around June 24th. I am now finally at the end and it has been an exciting journey watching those buds get fat on one of my plants.

The problem I seem to be having is that they both flowered at the same time but after that they went separate paths it seems. Both have been in the same environment and received the same feedings throughout. Temperatures varied from 70 degrees to 105 degrees (the first couple days), stabilized at an average of 80 degrees the past month. 2x2x4 tent, 225 actual watt blurple. Advanced nutrients flora trio with a cal mag 4-0-0. Humidity always between 30-55%

The plant on the right has really nice colas, super frosty, some about the size of my forearm, and I'm about to chop her down. The other is making big colas and white hairs, but low trichomes on sugar leaves and shes vegging like crazy still. Lots and lot of leaf production still. I really want to harvest soon because the weather is about to turn. I'm almost 100% sure the plant didnt hermie. Is this thing going to kick into gear soon like the other one did or is it a lost cause? And again these are allegedly the same genetics, vision seeds NL auto

Right plant very nice cola. Left plant, Still vegging like crazy

right looks super nice  lefty looks like a whacky phenotype thats just a leaf monster.happens in the photoperiod world to.just a bit of bad luck :frowny: it still has buds, but the bud to leaf ratio is poor,as its a whacky pheno thc could also be down, could take another 4-5 weeks to finish to.
its with a sad heart im advising to chop it up for bubbl has/edibles when harvesting righty :smokeit:
but im an eejit and a 4th opinion wouldnt go amiss :greencheck:
good luck n keep er lit
:pighug:

I have read in lots of places sometimes depending on phenos that you may need to try kicking to 12/12 but that’s just a guess! Some autos end up needing the little kick in the ass! After harvesting 1st if you are wanting to chop separate than try kickin it over for a couple days and check for difference. Just my guess here but someone more experienced can prob give u a definite answer! Big lady's buds r looking tasty!! :smokeout: Cure it up and pass it around!

hmmm...me thinkz me gonna ride with archie on this one & lean towardz it bein a weird pheno, cuz well, it'z a weird pheno world out there  but hey, if ur not needin the space anytime soon & have nuthin better to do, lol, u could alwayz jus let her go & ride it out  i mean, it ain't like it'z any kinda failure on ur part, and she'z obviously gonna end up addin sumthin to the pot (see what me did there, hehe :smoking:), and sumthin is alwayz better than nuthin, so... ;) and besidez -> it'z NL man, and NORTHERN LIGHTZ ARE PEOPLE TOO!! :headbang: :coffee: ppp

This kinda looks like re vegging but if shes still putting out pistils then shes just blooming weird. I would let her finish. Take the time as some auto nls go 120-130 days.. id give her 12 hrs dark once leftie is chopped. Watch for changes.

Thanks all, I'll give it a week or two, maybe try some 12/12. I'll update later on. No big deal though, first grow and the other plant harvested well. And to think I thought that one was the runt. :) .... very rewarding hobby. Can't wait to grow some Mephisto next year
