Growers choice seeds 5 pack autoflower northern lights. Planted 2 so I still have some left for when this all goes south lol
Planted 5/27 seeds in generic potting soil with a bit of coco coir added. sprouted 5/29 and placed in southern windowsill. Transplanted to 5 gallon bucket at week 1 with 90% miracle grow garden soil 10% coco coir.

Fed some root boost tea a couple random times so far.

Seedlings stretched in windowsill and we're falling o er in the 5 gallon buckets so I mounded some soil around the stem for support.

Grow area gets about 4 hrs direct sunlight mid day and the rest of the day partly shady.

Current pics are day 20 from sprouts.

Looking good . I germinated a royal queen seeds northern lights auto last week . Currently on day 9 from seed and shes literally only a cm out the pot i feel like shes just not growing . I havnt give any nutes and soil hasn't dried out . I soaked germinated and then potted outside in those orange b and q buckets so plenty of room for it. Maybe shes jist a little slow . Sorry to hijack the thread

Yeah at day 9 mine were pretty darn small, only 2 little leaves on them. They stretched tall though, about 5inch tall, and leaning as mine didn't get enough light in the window.

Finally updating my journal as AFN was down a lot during this grow.
These pics are from June 28 which was day 30 I think.
There were so many rainy days and nights at this time I think I had only watered twice.
I had given them some root boost tea twice I think. I don't recall the name of it.

These pics are from July 2.
Lots of rain still. The coco seems yo really help with drainage as all the rain doesn't seem to bother the ladies.
Around this day I fed with Dr earth 1/4 cup in 1 gallon of water. I'm not sure how much was taken up as it rained a lot that night and may have flushed it out.

These pics are from July 8. Looks like flowering is about to start here.

The right hand plant had leaves being eaten by something. I picked off a little green caterpillar and put diotomaceous earth down. That seems to have fixed it.

Flowering started 2 days later on the 10th, which was 6 weeks to the day from sprouts.

These pics are from today. 4th day of flowering.
It's been in the 80s nearly every day for the last 2 weeks. I've been watering with the hose and sometimes with the garden sprinkler.

Fed today with 1/4 cup of Dr earth organic in 1 gal water. Each plant got 1/2 gallon of the tea.

The plant on the right has mostly leaves with 5 or 3 points but I don't think any have 7

The plant on the left has mostly leaves with 7 or 5 points but I don't think any have only 3

Yeah they look like they were probably stunted due to the amount of rain in the beginning. Also they only get about 3-4 hrs of direct sunlight and the rest of the day is pretty shaded. I've got 3 more seeds I'll be starting in a tent under LED soon and we'll be able to see if it's worth even trying outdoor with so many tall ass trees blocking the sun most of the day lol.
