New Grower First grow Flushing and harvesting help

Currently tip-toeing on my harvest days , have a auto critical diesel on day 96 and an unknown auto on day 69 lol need to know how to flush, gradually over 2 weeks or 10-15 gallons once then harvest 1- 1 1/4 weeks later ?

From what I have read and done.. Just Ph'd RO or filtered water.

If you are in soil, you can give water only to some run off (unless ro or filtered) the last two weeks. I have whole house filtered water, so I need an additive and use organic Blackstarp molasses for the last week as I am in coco. Molasses is pretty benign.

oooo the flushing question... this mean a lot of different things to to people and its' all about your system... it may even rile some up with my answer... before i start if your organic or soil you don't really need to flush

what is flushing - passing a large amount of water through your medium to remove any salt build up. When done at the end of the grow ( normally the last 2 weeks of the grow) it helps the plant to cannablise it self and use up it's stored energy of the NPK's in it leaves resulting in a better tasting weed at the end of the cure... arguable to some but we not going down that road.

How to flush... again this is up to you to build your own system but the rule of thumb is 2 x the amount of water to the pot size, e.g 10ltr pot = 20ltr of water... again this is only rule of thumb and some would say it's gospel. I use half the amount but that's due to my sytem i have built and it works for me.

What can you flush with... any thing really that you think may help in the taste but no NPK's. I Flush with Remo's Naturals Candy, Mammoth P and micro tea (urb). If you want to flush with something use sweeteners, sugars basically. Raw honey, black molasses etc. Or one of the many over priced hydro bottles. Becareful with these as I've heard many can make your weed taste the same, Bud Candy being the one every say that does that.

When to flush... well your just going to have to teach your self that over a few grows, all I can say is learn to read your plants, they will tell you.

I forgot to add in that I do a large amount of water twice during the 2 week flush period, once at the start of that period and one about 5 to 4 days before the chop. I use sugars and microbes up to the 5 to 4 day mark then plain water for that last few days.

Thanks for the info will definitely be trying a couple of different methods from above and see what works for me , any specific tell signs that it’s time to chop ? I have a shittly led microscope so it’s hard to tell by trich’s

Brown pistils, at least 75%. I have to take a small bud off and get somewhere steady to see trichs well.
