First grow. Dodgy stem

Hey this blue mammoth has been struggling to stand up and this is what the stem looks like. Any advice?

Hey this blue mammoth has been struggling to stand up and this is what the stem looks like. Any advice?I see a narrowing of the main stem near the soil surface and this i haven't seen before.Could have or did have stem rot at one point.You could try and gently straighten it out and tie it to a stick placed near the stem than put moist soil around stem up to the first leaf node firm it a little and keep it moist and hopefully roots will form to hold it up.Other than that it looks healthy.

... huh, that's odd! It looks like it got a minor fungal attack, but beat it back,... but the stem strength is compromised, might be brittle so I wouldn't force the stem to bend... let it lean as is, and stake it firmly, and mound up some soil up over it so maybe new roots will grow above the constriction like Nammy said,... :smoking:

Yeah I was going to mention possible root fungus. I'm interested to see the OP post back with updated pictures. Thanks @Waira for staying on top of things.
