Hello!

i just start few days ago (today is the 5th day) to germ my seed, after 48 hours the seed sprouted and i moved it to 5-6 liter pot. (dont know exactly)

now after over 48 hours since the seed in the soil under 6400k 25w CFL, nothing happened yet.
is that a noramal situation?

another question is, what is the recommanded distance between the CFL and the plant?
gear:

Dimensions growth room:
Height: 80 cm.
Depth: 40 cm.
Width "25 cm.

2X 2700k 25W CFL.
1X 6400k 25W CFL.
2x PC fan

:thank:

I would say 5 cm between cfl and plant.
and yes could be just let her work her way up from the soil, how deep is she in the soil exactly?
if you really feel somethings wrong you could carefully dig her back up and see what's going on if you feel she won't break the soil on her own put her back in with just a tiny loose layer of dirt on top of it!

she's about 3cm deep in soil.

i think i ll try to do what you said, will update soon!

update:

just found her buried 5cm deep with 2 little green leaves.
shoud i try to replant it or throw it to garbage?

You could try replanting it and giving it a very light watering an see after a day or so if starts growing again, but you may damage the roots and kill it. If so just germ another seed and try it again but only 1-1.5 cm below soil level 5cm sounds a little too deep to me mate

don't update by editing the post your thread won't show new posts happening when you do this so people might skip it.

I would try not to damage the roots and place her a bit higher in the soil with the leaves sticking out of it so she can see some light to grow towards!

Here she is, what do you think guys?
she already died?
or should i let here try to grow?

She looks fine. You could use a spray/mister to keep her moist. it is less damaging than hitting her with a jet of water.
Please don't chuck the gal. I have grown beans that I had cut in half trying to get them out of the packaging. I have grown seeds that I threw across the room when I tripped up.
They all survived and gave me a good harvest. Never give up until the fat penguin sings. And I have NO intention of warbling. None.

She looks great, but shove a little more dirt against the root. and I agree with ep spraying her some would be good!
she's alive so let her grow!

Fortunately she is all right and begins to grow.

i have few questions:
1. Should i start fertilize her?
2. Should i start the light cycle?(until now she were under 6400k 23W CFL 24h)
3. Is she straightened?
Thanks!
