Greetings,
Long time reader, First time Poster. I have decided to give auto's a try. I ordered a handful of different seeds. I have always loved the Afghan Kush and everyone speaks highly of WOS AK ryder. I am also a big fan of Sour Diesel. I ordered 7 AK ryders and about 7 different Sour Diesel autos to try. When I find one that i really like I will stick to that for the Diesels. For my first attempt I am going with 1 AK ryder, 1 COC Amphetamine(diesel) auto, 1 Sagarmatha Seeds Double Diesel ryder, and one Black Skull Seeds Auto Diesel Matic. I labeled them A1-A4 in order just listed.

Room: I am starting in a 2'x4' by 5' high Stealth room with a High output 4' 6 bulb T5 with both 2700k and 5700k. I am going to be using Coco-Coir for this grow as I have heard it is simplifies the PH control. I will do a 75% coir to 25% per-lite mix. I am using 12" square pots (18L) and can fit A total of 8 in this room. I have a HID with both MH and HPS as well. I will be starting them under T5 and move to HPS to finish. HID is 400w cool tube. I am not sure I can use in the short room that I do have, so I am shopping for 2nd room for this.

I plan to use organic fox farm nutes and nothing else as this is my first attempt. I will try other things down the road to see how things end up.

I Germinated my seeds on February 1st 2013 and all have sprouted. I germinated the 4 autos plus 1 photo dinafem seeds Diesel. This was a freebee that I am eager to try out. I germinated in 2" of water and moved to wet paper towel after 2 days soaking. All 5 seeds sprouted. I will be planting tomorrow.

Cant wait

Sounds like you've thought things out well! :thumbs:

Just a IMHO moment... If you're using Fox Farm's "Grow Big" & "Tiger Bloom" be sure to pH, they tend run acidic. I also don't consider them to be organic either, they are still chemical based, with organic components, so there is still salt build-ups that need to be flushed prior to bloom & harvest. Nonetheless FF nutes can produce some wonderful plants!

Looking forward to pics & more, always been a fan of the AK Ryders...

Welcome to AFN, elevatormusic! :smokebuds:

That's a hell of a lineup of strains you have there! Look forward to following along with your grow. :smokeit:

Thanks for posting and info on Fox farm nutes Endive. I will be monitoring closely.

PLANTING
As planned, I planted my sprouts today. The AK ryder and the first two Diesels were good looking, nice sized sprouts. The third Diesel auto was the runt of the bunch with only a small tail. I went ahead and threw her in the dirt(coco) with the others. Last, the Dinafem Diesel photo also sprouted strong and is twice the size of the auto sprouts. I put the four Auto's Directly into the 18L square pots. The Photo I threw into a small pot which has a 2 week old Unknown Seedling that I will be moving elsewhere as I do not want to take any risks with this unknown in my room.

Watered once sprouts in Coco/perlite blend and PH'd run off at about 6.
Temp stays between 65-80. I will run a 20/4 schedule(as recommended for the AK ryder). Humidity currently in the 60's. I keep tent open when I can for air flow. I have seen the RH as low as 35. Seems to jump up right after watering.

I think that's all for now. More watching and waiting to come.

Thanks for tuning in everyone. Tips and advice are always welcome.

2 Days after Planting

On Feb 7th I put all sprouts into pots. Yesterday A2 had just started to poke his head out. Today both A1 and A2 are reaching for the sky. R1 has also shot up. A3 and A4 have not yet broken the surface. Today I will transplant the Photo's as there is not enough room for RU let alone both.

Temp 75f
RH 56

Germed 1st of February 2013

A1 = WOS Afghan kush ryder
A2 = COC Amphetamine Auto (diesel)
A3 = Sagarmatha Double Diesel Ryder
A4 = BSS Auto Diesel-Matic
R1 = Dinafem Diesel (photo)
RU = Unknown photo (germed 2 weeks prior - exact date unknown)

Glad to see someone running a double diesel ryder. Thinking of getting me some of those beans. Can't wait to she the rest of this grow.

Thanks for watching Eflow. I am a big fan of Diesel. Spent some time in NY and fell in love with the Sour Diesel and family. I am interested to see how effectively they have carried the diesel into the auto world. I hear a lot of good about Sagarmatha, and have high expectations of the Double Diesel. We will see how the Three diesels compare on this run. I have three more to try after this.

Thanks for tuning in.

tuned in and waiting for the updates, sooo interested in these beans for a future grow...everything is looking great :clap:
