Gday mates, I just finished my first grow and have been preparing some new soil to grow bigger and better next time. first grow wasn't a fantastic yeild a whole 7g dry from 2 little dwarfs. The clay soil was to hard for the roots and stunted them and the 3rd dwarf got stepped on by a roo. For my next grow I'm going to take my soil out to the guerilla location and use that instead of trying to amend the clay soil. I started cooking up the soil 8 days ago. The base soil is searles premium and the stuff I have added

Searles 5 in one, includes
  • cow fowl
  • sheep manures
  • mushroom compost
  • zeolite
  • blood & bone
  • hoof and horn
Yates dynamic lifter, includes :
  • Fish meal
  • Chicken manure
  • Blood and bone
  • Seaweed
Lime (for ph if needed)
richgrow Guano
Mycorrhizal
Worm farm (castings and juice)
Perlite
Insect frass
Alfalfa meal
Azomite
Neem cakes
Oystershell flour
Gardeners friend worms
Go go juice, includes:
  • Humid acid
  • Seaweed
  • Kelp
  • Fish

I noticed some fuzzy white mold coming up in spots on top of the mix think it's the myocelieum from the myocorhizal innoculant?

Is there anything else I should add to the mix ?
Should I use water only when growing next?

White Fuzzy is OK  :pass:

You mix sounds like what I used last season. It did well with just water and my plants took off.

The only additional feed I used was blackstrap molasses during flower to keep the soil life going and that seemed to work well.

Yea I'm gonna give it some mollases every 2-3 weeks. Keep the soil microbes levels up :pass:

The other thing I'm realizing after both reading here and amending my soil is that organic soil needs time to work. I typically don't see results from my top dressing amendments for a week or more.

Make sure your soil has time to steep as it were, otherwise you might be wondering what's taking your plants so long to respond.

Good to know Hecno !, I read that it to add with no plants in the ground. Wasn't sure with autos. Also read somewhere that innoculants are a scam but a lot of people use them so I'm gonna use them to(on my photos)

It's been cooking for around 2 weeks and is looking really nice and organic. When I take a handful and squeeze it sticks yet it is still able to crumple easily appare you this is what I want :D
