hello afn... great site yall have running here lots of good info... i've tried searching to answer my questions but figured i should just quit wasting time and ask...

I have started building a dwc with the help of my mother, who has never used such a system for cannabis, and may have led me in the wrong direction on a few things. I am assembling a dwc/drip hybrid... 6 sites 5 inch pots. it is in a 25 gallon tub.

I have a question about aerating the water cause i now realize this 25 gallon tub is huge compared to the five gallon buckets most use. i have four airstones and was gonna buy a 4 output 15/lpm aquaruim pump to push them but its short of the 1/lpm per 1 gallon of water mark... would this work for me? or do i need to invest in a more expensive pump? If so what is recommended?

and what sort of water pump is best for the drip... i figured since all i need was a six site drip i could use a small simple fountain pump from lowes... what yall think?

thanks in advance for all the help!!!

You dont need to drip feed if you buy a large enough air pump...I personaly like the one below, and use two or four of your stones...and keep an eye on the stone...they tend to clog up. The pump you can find at any hydroponics store...50-60 bucks...expensive but very quite...

Thank you... i was just looking into the top feed to get them going in the beginning before the roots reach the res. and for insurance incase there was a malfunction with the air pump or stones... if any one else has more any tips or suggestion for the grow or set up im all ears...

Once to bubbling begins you dont need top watering,,,are you going to start in rockwool cubes? if so you could just water them each day till the roots show, but it not needed and they will be in that water within a week.

ya rock wool is the plan... thanks for the advice makes since think you sold me on it  this is gonna be my fall winter project got outdoor goin till then so im not in a hurry just gettin things together... you have any tent set up tips or anything? kinda overwhelmed with all this carbon filter ventilazion mess :help:.... plan on puttin this in a 3x3 tent i guess so what about light 400w? 600w?
