Four of my six look like these..... Am I right to assume these are males and need to be removed.... like I said, first auto grow and thirds grow in general. still learning the ins and outs

I regret not keeping one male. If you can, do just so you can pollinate one of the buds for seed later.

Agree with Sko
Keep your best male and pollinate a branch or two of your female. That way you'll always have a supply of seeds

Thanks for the replies. This is day 35 of the grow and only have 2 females of the 6 plants that made it. Started 10 Lowryder II seeds soaking, 8 sprouted, 2 didn't survive. Of the 6 that have been growning, have 4 males. My previous attempt with "feminized" seeds had no sprouts out of the 6 seeds I started with. So that attempt was a total waste of time and $$$$ for the seeds.

Who're the seed bank you bought off. For autos I can personally recommend Royal queen seeds and Ministry of Cannabis. Never had an issue with them. Well one male out of a batch of 20 seeds which isn't bad. Well at least you have the one lady and if you keep the male you can make your own seeds so you won't have to spend £££ for a while.

Thanks realcarlos. Do I need to isolate the male or can it stay in the same cabinet with the female? When is the time to pollinate the girl?

Yes definitely make some seeds. It would be better if you removed the male, and collected the pollen away from your girls. Take your female to another room, dust a few of the lower buds with pollen you collect. Wait a couple of hours for the pollen to set. And mist your Mamma plant befor putting her back with the other female, to continue flowering. Leave the pollenated buds until last to harvest, to ensure that the seeds are mature. Usually 6 weeks from pollenation and your seeds will be mature,

Hope this helps

Bud Bean was the outfit that sold me the first seeds that didnt do anything. My original order from them was split in half. (think they just screwed it up). The sent the second half of the order after I contacted them. Then when I had bad results from their seed, the quit responding to my emails. Great idea to save a male and try to pollinate a couple buds on the female.

Here's a trick. Cut off all of the male parts of the plant except for one branch. Cover that branch with a bag and tape it at the bottom so its tightly shut and let the plant develop. The bag will catch the pollen released so you can collect it later and apply it to a single bud on your female plant. Ideally you should separate them if you can.
