New Grower First AF in Soil: OG Kush from HSO

Whilst my new "Hydro Root Farm" raises my first hydroponic auto flowers, I decided to see how the same genetics compared when grown in soil. I'm literally gob-smacked now that I checked the calendar & see that she's only 27 days old!

Medium is Coco + Perlite + special cottage soil from the forest.

Using Connoisseur nutrients

Thanks! Yes, Boveda really wants to be a support for the home grower--new & old. So it just seemed natural for us to learn about auto flower.

OG Update.

50 days old. In a fairly deep planter, this girl is at my nose making her 5'1. I'm really hoping she stops
stretching but this is just like the OG I just cut that I grew in the Hydro root farm. As mentioned before I topped
this one very early & it worked out well I think.

Still using Connoisseur bloom but adding some cal-mag now. The auto in the root farm was awful frankly. The leaves grew
very quickly to have some rust problem (cal-mag def I now think). But this one is absolutely beautiful. Just a bit stretchy.

From planter to top bud she finished at 5'3"
Total grow time: 79 days from germination.
Light: 400 watt Mars LED
Medium: Coir & Perlite
Nutes: Connoisseur fed intermittently
Final weight: Dry-trimmed buds weighed in before cure at 68 grams.

Incredibly easy to grow. Topped at about 14 days after it popped up. It didn't seem like the LED was giving her much frost but the buds
are SO SOLID! Now that she's dry and dry-trimmed, you can definitely see the sweet sparkles of trichomes.

I am so excited now to get going on more autoflowers. As we all know, there are supposed drawbacks to AF eg now terps, low yield
but this AF experience did not back that up. They're on day 8 of cure & already smell amazing.
