I was wondering if anyone reduces their hours of light as they get towards the end of flowering?
My first few auto cycles I was running 24 hours seed to harvest. My plants grew huge and healthy with great yields, but they didn’t have the really strong terpene character I was used to with photo period plants.
Thanks to a push from @Mañ'O'Green I switched to 18/6 and my last couple cycles have had much stronger terpenes. I am happy with my current results, but it’s been almost two years since I grew a photo period strain, so I don’t have a frame of reference if the terps from my autos are as good as the terps from my previous photo period plants.
Does anyone still growing both photos and autos notice a difference in terps between photo plants finished under 12/12 and autos finished under 18/6? Or has anyone experimented with finishing autos under 12/12 for the last 1-2 weeks, and if so did you notice a significant difference in the terps?
