Its a method of topping where you fail to remove the entire growth point, you can supposedly achieve 4 new growth points instead of 2 but I just ended up with one mangled one lol.
Stick to topping until you have enough growth points to play around with and then give fimming a go.
FIM stands for F#%k I missed ☺
Also on an auto it is generally wise to let it grow without topping or fimming.
