Hello everyone! I have a few questions about autos in an indoor since i am a beginner.

1. Regarding sodium bulbs someone told me that its approximately 100w per plant. So if i have a 600w bulb can i only grow 6 plants effectively?

2. Once the seeds have germinated can you add them straight to a 11L pot? If so, do you water before or after the seed is planted? Do you soak the whole pot with water or just a bit on the top since the root is still very small?

3. Regarding nutrients, if It says to add 1ml of nutes to a L of water does that mean that each plant should get 1ml of nutes? If I split the liter of water between 2 plants then will they be getting 0.5ml of nutes each?

4. If I use biobizz light mix in what week should I start adding nutrients? Whats the difference between light mix and all mix in terms of growth and yields of the plants?

If anyone can answer any of these questions it would be greatly appreciated :)

Welcome Copetegui

I am a relatively new grower myself, especially indoors.

However I can tell you that:

1. 50w per sq ft is the generally accepted wattage, not per plant.

2. I have always germed straight into a pot eliminating the need for a transplant. Always worked for me. Many use other methods, and have success.

Cheers

hi and welcome :pass:
1.ive been told the figure of 50w/plant but i dont believe it.led have changed all that.some grow 4 plants under a 250w oldschool light with great results.some grow 2 plants under 75w.
2.yes.moist is best,wet/dry not so good.
3.no.add 1ml of nutes to 1L of water.if you feed 1 plant 500ml and the other plant 500ml of the 1L both plants get the same concentration of nutes.if you want to feed 500ml then add 0.5ml of nutes.
4.7-10ish light mix has almost no nutes, all mix has some about 3-4 weeks worth i think.both soils need additional nutes added.
happy growing and good luck
