Recently--self compassion has been a breakthrough in helping self overcome difficult emotions. As well as neurological based applications (very similar to below two approaches).
And for example--Cognitive therapy/Rational Emotive Thinking--is a fantastic method of learning how thoughts affect--mood, outlook and general well being.
So--anything one would like to discuss with the goal of feeling good and understand self, and behavior.

Many sites online and book plus videos about Cognitive Therapy. Something that should be taught to ever child in school--how to think--the root of most of our personal issues.
Fighting, fleeing and freezing mentally as we think in patterns inappropriate for our own health. Thinking and how to think--really ought to be taught from first graders to young adults.
It is so very easy yet takes consistent effort. Along the way one makes many discovers about self.
