Hi AFN , hows it going?

I havn't posted in a bit as ive been busy... Mostly only been coming on the site to read up on all the awesome info here! But ive run into a problem that I cant find the answer for.

I have a decent size plant that to me seems very hungry, I want to give it a good shot of nutes but the soil is still wet on the top. I actualy noticed right after I gave it plain water with molasses at 4 weeks that I should have given it nutes this time instead because the leaves were drooping a little, and the color was fading a bit, especially on new growth. Now Ive waited 3 days and the soil is still wet on the top... But each day I see the plant getting lighter from lack of nutes. I want to feed it now but as I said the soil is still wet, and im wondering if I can do this, as I know overwatering is a nono. But I also feel if this plant goes another day or 2 its going to be pretty sick... So im kinda stuck on the fence here. My plan is to wait 12 hours for it to dry some more then feed(soil will still be wet).

So any input on this is appreciated!

:peace:Thanks!

If you have a good aerating soil it shouldn't pose any problem. There are even some soils that shouldn't get totally dried on top. This type of soils, with a good dose of perlite, for example, should be fed when the soil on top is about to dry, but not just yet.

I wouldn't worry to give it a feed now, as long as you maintain a good watering schedule in the future.
Even better is to have a spray around to give a foliar feed every once in a while when you need it, just like now :)

Yes i agree with Hugo it wouldnt hert to give her a feed now even if its still a little wet it wont do any harm just dont over water too often dude

Thanks alot Hugo, and si1984!

Ill be feeding it tonight, and hopefully it will perk back up :jump: I had just given it a heavy watering last time and noticed it was not dry so I didnt want to have the problem get worse on me, but from what you are saying It looks like it should be fine.

I appreciate the feedback!
