Hi guys I recieved a pack of great white shark auto female seeds. I potted 2 that have been potted for approximately 5-6 weeks now.

Both plants have shown sex but although the smaller one is coming along fine and flowering nicely however the huge plant seems to be stuck in preflower. And when I say huge I'm talking 2m tall !!!

Has anybody heard of this happening before and is there anything I can do to nudge it into flower ?

Some autos are not stable and are ultimately photoperiods. You can reduce your light cycle to 12/12 which should bring her to full flower.
Good luck

If I reduce to 12/12 then go back to 18/6 would this stress her or would she continue to flower ?

Also would she of still preflowered if she was photo ?

I suspect it could cause problems mate. Space could be an issue as she will likely stretch quite a bit and some serious supercropping may be required to control a large girl like that...but should be a monster yielder..

But once she starts to flower in 12/12 a switch back to 18/6 would be OK or must I follow through in 12/12 it just she shares the space with 3 other autos in flower ?

That would likely mess her up. You could try doing 16/8 for a week to see if that is enough to get her to flower. Its a compromise....

Maybe I will try that or leave her to veg until the rest are done then finish growing the Christmas tree !!! She will be done just in time for Christmas at this rate..haha

:growing:

I am having issues with mine too. Over 4 weeks into flower and they haven't done much but preflower. I put them into 12/12 lighting a few days ago so hopefully they might shift...

I actually gave up up on one of mine and gave it the chop :face: and it was HUGE but just not progressing in terms of flower but just getting bigger and bigger. On The other hand the second one I had kept as it was slightly more developed. All I can say is that these are the slowest developing autos I have ever dealt with. I will get a picture when I can but at approximately 75days it looks like it is only a week or 2 into flower.

The one I chopped was pretty much exactly the same stage as yours maybe 6 weeks into flower unfortunately for me 12/12 was not an option @THCHERO . It kinda figures why seedsman are throwing them in as bonus seeds as well as the free white widows at the moment. On the + side the white widows are almost finished and smell awesome. Some real old school dank.
