I have a slight hope of getting some autos finished for christmas. What is the absolute fastest strain available? Potency and yield comes second.

Also, I've heard one of the cannabis gurus mentioning on youtube that he experimented with smaller pot size to shorten flower time on autos.
Don't remember who or where, and I can't seem to find any info with a google search.

How small pots are we talking and how much will it shave of the flowering time?

i think there are 68 days to xmas then you have to take into account germinating them and unless you have your grow area on point breeders times mean very little i reckon you could do it but it will be very close just my opinion and nice to meet you growbro

I have 2 Fastbuds autos going now. Fastberry and Smoothie... One flowered at 30 days the other just showed Pistils at 5 weeks and they are in the same size pots. Same conditions and treatment of course.

It's generally about genetics and the particular phenotype you get when planting from seed. Strains have different phenotypes that can affect growth rates and other characteristics which is one reason cloning is done so you can preserve a specific pheno with photoperiod plants.

Of course there are other variables and the conditions play a big role but the point is it would be very difficult to guarantee a crop in that timeframe.

And then the time to dry and cure. Doesn't look good for a completed/smokable harvest before Christmas.

Finished, down and drying?
If your just now looking for a strain, that would suggest you'd need to order. In that case, none.

If your dropping seeds as we speak, maybe sour crack, shes fast, but 65 days from seed to cut is asking a lot.

I wrote I have a slight hope, nothing about guarantees, and of course pheno can play an enormous role in flowering time, but your best bet for finding a short flowering pheno is still far greater among strains that are famous for finishing fast.

Almost mature buds on des. 23. could be hash on des.24. That's the least of my problems.

Seeds were shipped today. Could be her in 3-4 days. Hopefully there will be some smoke before next year at least.
