Hello AF world, how the heck are we doing? Firstly, I'd like to thank you for stopping by and checking out my first real grow. I grew some purple ryder halfway through it's life under a low powered cfl (learned from those mistakes) and as of last week invested in a MarsHydro 300 watt (140) LED to really give my girls a fair chance.

I bought 1 x fast buds blackberry and got a free Dinafem Critical + seed both femenised. This grow will help me learn the basics of growing my own medicine. Also trying to do this on a low budget before i begin investing, learning first is what counts i say .. Hands on experience and all right? Over the next week i am ordering some Mylar for the walls, as well as investing in some LED strips or LED 360 bulbs to hang down between both plants to help with the lower branches (unless i decide to do some LST, but this is somthing i know nothing about but realise there is plenty of documented wisdom on AF.net). I am still building my grow closet as i go, no worries on smell and airflow as closet has an air vent to the outside world on the top corner of the wall. The closet doors also have slits on them, although 90% covered on the outside with tied on plastic sheet.. Ample air still flows in from the bedroom whilst keeping my bedroom from glowing like a 1970's disco! The small table lamp is really only used for heating purposes :) surprisingly works nicely although not ideal

Day 2 :

after germination, i planted the seeds into watered and ph-6.2 soil ready for the germinated seeds. I used ph +/- Left for two days and on day 2 i have been greeted with life!

*fully realised my mistake here guys, 2 litre pots are too small. once she starts to get strong i will carefully transplant before she gets rootbount by carefully cutting the plastic pot away whilst gently sitting her in a larger pot* .... Lesson learned!

Just popped a couple of the Fast Buds Blackberry myself! So I'm going to follow along and see what's what!
Peace & Happy Growing!

Day 10 :

After transplanting (i know i know) the blackberry got a little shocked but has now recovered nicely. She is back to full strength and making me smile everyday i see her, noticing that her leaves are getting bigger and the new leaves are starting to pick up speed.

Nothing more than water fresh from loch lomond, ph'd offcourse!

LOL, I had to transplant one of mine too. I didn't think it was going to germ, so I put it in a foam cup. I had to break the cup apart and carefully transplant in 3 gallon fabric pot. I am going to purposely transplant autos, (well sort of...), in the spring. I plan to start several in root plugs and place them directly in my guerilla holes after roots have grown out of the root plugs. I'll be watching for more updates! :peace:
