Third fastberry grow, solo this time. The plant was topped at the fifth node with no further training etc. It is now six weeks above ground and I s 28 inches tall. It is growing under my 130 W Rspec QB sourced from the late Niemi company. She is drinking up to 1/2 gallon of MC water per day.

Thanks for sharing your grow story, wish you will have a great harvest from it :woody:

7.5 weeks above gound and the rather thick bud stems have trichomes. I think that I am even seeing some on the bases of the fan leaf petioles. Good reason to not defoliate all that much. Lol
One of you mentioned a small pot. This one is like 3.5 gallons so it’s not that small. How big of a pot do you think you could go with under a 130 W light before you get to the point of diminishing returns? 7 gallons?

53 days above ground and a tick under 30 inches tall. Have not done much in the way of defoliation. Just the odd ugly fan leaf here and there. The first three plants were no topping no training. I figured I would see how topping alone would do. That combined with only growing a single plant under my light and watering adequately has worked out pretty well. Next time I may do a bit of LST just to give the big branches a little more breathing room. It’s kind of tight In the center.

This plant is smelling a lot more than the previous ones. It’s still the sweet smell, not the Skunky armpit thing, but much more noticeable

Another little note. These girls seem to be a tad sensitive to nitrogen levels, especially when you get into flowering. I have been watching more carefully this time but I still get the occasional faded tip. So I am using half the recommended dosage of Megacrop at this time. So this strain might be a little bit thirstier than I originally thought but not quite so hungry.

I use MegaCrop and Bud Explosion and take a look at mine. I just fed her 4 grams of MegaCrop and 1/4 teaspoon of Bud Explosion @jdm61 @Fitzy what the hell happened to mine? Looks like nitrogen deficiency to me

No idea. Of the three plants that I have grown the one that produced the best smoke was the one that looked like it was not doing well. That’s probably going to change with this latest one. The topping really made a big difference. How much water are you feeding that plant?
