I have a question about my Strawberry Pie growth. I started these two plants along with Fast Buds Wedding Glue plants. The Wedding Glue plants seem to be on schedule. The Strawberry Pie plants are producing tons of flowers, but no bud development. The plants are in the seventh week from seed, first pistil observed after twenty-seven days from seed. I am puzzled as to why I am not seeing any bud development. Are Strawberry Pie plants just slow ? Photo 1 shows tiny bud development. Second photo shows Wedding Glue on right with much better bud development for same age plant. Wedding Glue did pistil one week sooner. Does anyone think bud development will come in time, or am I going to be stuck with tiny buds ? Any help appreciated.

@arquette :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome:Those plants look fine to me. They do not know how to read the calendar so they just grow their merry way. They do know how to grow despite us . Don't compare your plants to others because the variables are far too many. No two seeds are alike genetically. Have fun as you will soon (4 - 6 weeks) enjoy the fruits of your labors.

:goodluck:

Thanks for your reply. I was just reading Wile E Peyote thread. He has grown strawberry pie twice, and both grows produced no bud weight, just popcorn. I think it is a genetic issue. I doubt seriously that his seeds and mine came from the same lot.
