Is there any information about how strong the air being blown onto plants should be? Should it cover the entire plant? How long for? I've never really seen any information about this aspect of growing. I've got a 4x4 and I've always been worried about mold infecting my buds. I've read tons of info about airflow and fans stopping the dreaded mold and rot, but that's where the info stops. Would like to know more about this.

Hey mate, mold and rot in my opinion should be taken care by your environment; Temp -RH - Air exchange.

Here is a good table to follow:

Happy growing!!!

I have my 6 inch clip on fans blowing just over the top of plants.

I was taught light breeze over the canopy. If they are dancing in the wind like a belly dancer with a grass skirt, its too high/direct on the plants.

Also if your tent is really crowded, a lower secondary air source to keep air flow over the top of the pots through the grow area.

I've got a 6" fan in my 2x2x4 and plant has a good jiggle to her, seems quite happy (only 2wks old though)

I have a medium sized oscillating fan in my flower tent. No problems at all with it. Keeps air moving not blowing in the same spot so no negative effects on the ladies. And every feed I move my plants around.
