My last seed purchase came w/ a 1 gal fabric pot for each auto seed purchased. I normally use 3 gal plastic pots. Hate to let the fabric pots go to waste. Never used a fabric pot before and I'm considering trying them out. My next indoor grow will be 2 Northern Light autos and 2 auto Blue Mystics. Like most I need the best yield possible. Has anyone used these fabric pots and if so could you compare them to larger plastic pots for me ?

Next spring I will be growing outdoors on a sunny deck in New York. I plan for it to be some combination of auto Blue Mystic and auto NL ... I'd like to use the fabric pots there also if they will be a positive rather than a negative. Is there anyone with any experience w/ fabric pots that can fill me in on whether they will work outdoors (1 gal fabric) or if I'd be better off w/ my usual 3 gal plastic pot ? Here again yield is important but I'm more concerned w/ the health of the plant. Also considering Low Ryders rather than the ABM or ANL since I'm not concerned w/ smell outdoors. Input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link Muddy ... I'm mainly concerned w/ whether a 1 gal fabric pot (root pouch) would be as good to grow in as a 3 gal plastic pot. I did a couple searches but didn't see a comparison ... I'm concerned w/ the depth of the pot, so I guess that means I'll be using a couple fabric pots along w/ my regular ones and reporting back .... thanks again.

I would also take the 3 gallon plastic over the 1 gallon fabric. 1 gallon is a bit small unless you're doing a micro grow.

I guess that makes three of us. I was hoping that I'd hear that a 1 gal fabric would grow as well as a 3 gal plastic pot. Maybe I can stack 'em or something. I expect to have room in my next grow to try at least 1 fabric pot to see how it does. Thank you for the input.

I think I may use them to pot up some photo Northern Lights to plant outdoors ... :bong:
