Had some moldy bud that I couldn't throw away but I couldn't remember how to fix it.

I remembered that I could water cure. Just so happens that RO is perfect for this so I soaked my buds in a jar of water I changed out twice a day for two days.

That above is two days of soaking and the resulting water was a yellow, urine color. I kept inspecting the bud and reading on water curing. In some forums they suggested running water over the plants. There is also bud washing.

In one form, someone detailed the process of water curing in which they continually replaced the water until the EC was 0. I thought why not, I ran 5 gallons of RO over the plants slowly until the EC was 0 with 5ppm remaining. I checked and checked for mold. I've smoked moldy weed before, horrible feelings.

I proceeded to do a bud wash with baking soda and lemon juice in one bucket and plain RO in another.

I tied all the bud that and hung it dry in front of a fan for a day.

There is no more mold. The bud has little smell and taste but is smooth and smoky. I believe this was an 00 Seeds auto Sweet Soma. The high comes on slowly peaking around an hour. Very mellow, watch 80's Transformers vibes, with a light stoney effect.

Munchies are insane but good taste so good. Im not advising to try what I did though. Good weed that I can smoke in front of my neighbors while I cut grass.
