Hi all,

This will be my third grow ever and first diary and I'll be running Blue Cheese Autos from expert seeds. After soaking all 16 of these seeds in paper towel I only managed to get 4 of them to pop and planted into the Coco. They've been about a week out of the ground for the first 3 and the fourth has just got its head up. 12 of the 16 seeds were duds and the growth seems a little slow compared to the other autos I've run so I don't really have high hopes for this particular genetic from expert seeds but we'll stick in there and see how these girls go.

Equipment.
0.8 X 0.8 X 1.6 metre tent for the first few weeks and then moving into the 1.2 X 1.2 X 2 tent for flower.
2 X 75 watt flood lamp led's in the small tent
2 X 250 watt Quick Bloom 2 led's plus a 260 watt HLG r spec in the bigger tent.
6 inch exhaust fan with mountain air carbon filter
6 inch intake fan with phresh intake filter.
50 litre res for small tent and 80 litre res for big tent
4 clips fans and 3 larger fans for airflow
A small air compressor running aeration to the both res and also for pumping air into the bottom of the Coco

Medium.
Hy-gen Coco with 30% perlite in 5 gallon fabric pots running drain to waste.

Training will be heavy lst and then under a scrog in the big tent. Keep them low and wide and try to fill the space. No defol... yep not even a leaf

Nutrients. All Floramax, High quality nutes, easy for beginners and extremely pH stable.
Vegaflora A + B
Root XS
Organabud
Resin XS
Flowering Enhancer

At about 6 days out of the ground gave them their first feed today by hand water with the A + B at half strength and Rooting hormone at 2ml per litre. EC 0.6 pH 5.9

Awesome bro. Good to hear you rate this strain. I really have no idea what to expect in the way of quality.

Poor seed stock is my guess. I got 16 for the price of 5 so I'm thinking that Expert seeds new their stock wasn't very good and that's why they were giving so man away.

I tried germinating the first 4 in Jiffy pellets and they all failed. after that I put another 4 in the paper towel and 1 popped. By that stage I new there was a problem with these seeds so I threw the other 8 in another paper towel and managed to pop another 3.

I'll grow these out but doubt I'll be buying from Expert seeds again

I also got the expert seeds deal of a bushel for a pint...Blue Cheese popped 100% (planted direct to medium) and provided some worthy smoke but the Lemon Cheese Haze stringy growth wasn't my cup of tea. Kinda get what ya pay for....

Maybe I just got a bad batch. I read somewhere that a couple of other people had similar issues. Do you have any pics of the blue cheese in flower?

No pics, That was several runs ago but couple of my 'tag a longs' really liked the cheese. When autos became popular, I think some breeders just didn't have the footing to stabilize genetics. Such is the cannabis world.

Update for week 2

Growth is coming along nicely now. The one in the back left corner is looking to be the most promising. It's had a bit more vigour than the other since the start and it's definitely the happiest.

The smallest of the 4 blue cheese seedling stunted really badly because I disturbed her in the medium when I was watering so we now have a Fast Buds Blackberry at about 5 days from seed and she's looking good so far.

Increased my feeds from 0.9 to 1.4 EC and I'm using 2.4 ml per litre each of the Vegaflora a + b with 2ml of the root xs and 1ml of the organabud. Gave them a good water to run off and soaked my medium to get those roots pushing out.

Has some nitrozyme that somebody gave to me and it said that it can be used as a foliar feed. Bottle said 3ml per litre and that's how I mixed it. I reckon it was way to strong because all the leaves I sprayed started to deform and split. If you use this stuff don't mix it at 3 ml per litre for foliar ffs. Stopped spraying it and everything's back to normal.

The Fast Buds Blackberry is gonna be the one to watch. Apart from the occasional pheno that doesn't colour up this strain produces deep purple/red sticky buds, and the reports are awesome. Can't wait to see her in flower.
