Evol Seeds RAD and Spice in RoninGarden

Welcome to the Evol Seeds test grow in RoninGarden.

I'd like to start off by thanking Evol for this opportunity. :Sharing One:

In this test grow I will be running RAD (Russian Afghani Delicious) and Spice photoperiod plants.

RAD beans:

Spice beans:

Both in rooters:

I'm starting off with two of each strain.
Here's the set up:
2 gallon Airpots
Botanicare Coco
General Organics nutrients
Coco will be amended with Great White Myco and Extreme Gardening Azos.

They are currently on the wifi germination station.
Once they pop they'll be placed into 2 gallon airpots with coco and vegged under a 250w hps in the 2'x2.5' tent @20/4 for a few weeks.
Then they'll be placed into the 4x4 tent under the 600w HPS for flower mode.
All this is subject to change of course.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what these ladies are capable of.

Welcome to a Friday afternoon update.
We have Sprouts!

One Spice and one RAD.
These girls will follow my germination protocol.
The other two rooters look like they'll be popping in the next day.

Welcome to a Monday morning update.

Miss RAD#1 and Miss Spice #1 got potted up the other day.
They are chilling in 2 gallon Airpots with Botanicare Coco.
RAD#1:

Spice#1:

Miss RAD#2 and Miss Spice #2 popped yesterday.

They'll both be getting potted up later today.
Like their sisters they'll be housed in 2 gallon Airpots and coco.

As I mention earlier, many variables will/would change over the course of the grow.
The latest change is these ladies are sunning themselves in the 600w HPS tent as opposed to the 250w HPS as originally planned.
They're chilling with a few autos in the tent right now under 20/4 cycle.
Had the room, so why not give the ladies some potent light.

Welcome to a Thursday evening update.
All the remaining sprouts have been potted up into 2 gallon Airpots.
Here's some pics of the ladies in their new homes.
The first girls to pop are #1 and the second to pop are #2.

Spice#2 had some insane rootage popping from the rooter before I potted her up.
Normally I have a tap root and maybe a lateral root or two.
This one had roots out every side and multiple out the bottom.
I'll be keeping an eye on her. Think this one might turn out to be a big girl.

I think you are right about Spice #2 being a big girl. Her mom was at least twice as tall as RAD.. We are about 2 weeks ahead of you in our Spice test but we germ directly to soil so I cannot tell you how common the large roots are.
Ill try to at least get some pics of the ones I have going posted in the Evol chat thread so you can check them out.
