Indoor Everything MI5!

So guys been spending allot of time trying to find different information on MI5! Without results So just thought id start a thread here *as there's been allot of MI5 grows here* to find some info. So anyone who has grown MI5, please join in! Post anything from growing traits,Pictures, taste etc.

So here are a few examples of things I am curious about

(1) Medicinal value of MI5? Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia etc.
(2) Does MI5 have STRONG purple traits? or not so strong? "This plant has a very purple afghani bred into it so outside will go a lovely rich shade of purple" - Short Stuff Seeds. I haven't seen this myself!
(3) Does anyone know some of the genetics gone into MI5? I know the base is AK-47 but just wondering if there is any more info on this *IF NOT* I understand breeders don't want their hard work copied!

Yeah I seen 1 picture Short Stuff has up! Purple stems and leaves only tho! Any purple in the flowers?

yeah i've seen that one.matter of fact all the pics that short stuff has of the Mi5,well the ones on the seed packs anyways are Muddy's Mi5 plants that he grew.he should be able to tell us if the bud was purple or not.

i can say with 99% confidence that those are muddy's plants.

i can't report entirely on either the color or the medicinal value since i'm in the process of a grow, but as far as color goes, it seems like some plants could easily turn purple since the foliage seems much darker than other plants, but i really don't know if they would, but the stems of my fan leaves were almost always purple, so perhaps that points to some purple potential

According to Muddy it has Afghan characteristics as well as AK-47. Supposed to be some potent smoke. Might try it on my 2nd grow except I hear the plants get rather tall.

Yes, the pictures of the purple Mi5 are mine. That was my first grow of Mi5, done outdoors late in the year. If I remember correctly I didn't harvest them till the 2nd week of November, so they were subject to quite a few nights of temps in the mid to low 30s, with days in the 50s and 60s. I had 3 plants. One got almost no purple, the 2nd and 3rd got the deep purple you see in the pics. No, there was none in the buds, only the leaves. Dried and cured it was beautiful bluish/green shade.

Stitch, the breeder of Mi5, won't say anything beyond that it's got AK47 and Afghani. Really can't blame him, there are so many rippers around. But just knowing it has the AK and Afghani means it's an indica/sativa cross, which gives it that great balanced high/stone. As far as med applications, I believe Jackal has good success with it for his anxiety. I'm sure he'll see this and give his opinion.

Yeah it has help me out with my anxiety. It's something I smoke in the evening/night as it glues me to my seat. Great for watching movies and just relaxing. The giggles in the breeders description is true as well. Every time I smoke out my sister, she will start that giggling. I can't resist but to laugh at her.

Some VERY informative posts guys :thumbs: how many days until harvest? 10 weeks? anyone seen them finishing in shorter time, i suppose the extra 2 weeks will be worth having some sativa in there :booya:
