I was reading through some of the old posts and stickies while my wife is receiving her chemotherapy. I see numerous posts about uses for this plant we all love and need. Soooo I decided to list where I use all the different parts.

During plant growth: I seem to always have leaves which need to be removed for one reason or another. These are always kept(as long as the leaf is in good shape) and placed into a Ziploc in the fridge to be juiced. Yes they can be bitter but if you use the following recipe youll never notice. 1/2 a head Romaine lettuce, 3 stalks celery, 3 pieces kale, 12+ marijuana leaves, 10 med carrots and 2 or 3 small apples. I typically get about 35oz of juice from this and do it 4 times a week.

After harvest, drying etc: Plant type determines next steps.
High THC low CBD strains will be cured for vaporizing. Buds are retained for vaporizing while stems and leaves are kept for use in RSO.
High THC med CBD strains will be used for both vape and oil supply.
1:1 THC/CBD strains will go solely to oil production.

After vaporizing, all ABV is retained and infused into coconut oil for topical application to burns, cuts and any other skin imperfections that warrant treatment. I also use this ABV oil on my dogs food.

The only part of the plant which I don't use directly is the root ball. After harvest I set out the pots to let the soil dry out. I do recycle my soil and the composting root ball just adds back some of the nutrients it took in the first place.

I hope this helps someone.

I`d imagine cos it helps keep them healthy!(remember that ABV is significantly lower in cannaboid % than `fresh herb`) Many use `full on oil` for cancer treatment for dogs/pets (rather than chemo!). If the dogs are getting on in life, then it may help with Arthritis or intestinal issues etc. Most Animals(given the chance!) will search it out in the wild...hence all the precautions, taken by Guerilla growers! :pass:

Yeah I'm asking because My 2 year old Boston terrier who is healthy otherwise has seizures. And I'm trying to figure this out. I believe they are brought on by him being scared and it will last hours where he is wobbly if he stands his face and eyes twitch and he shakes uncontrollably. It really breaks my heart. I have taken him to two different vets and they both say he is fine he just has to ride them out. They talk about a continues med regiment that is expensive and not necessary I should just keep him in a safe place. Well I want to help him recover quicker or prevent them all together so I am very interested in giving him some canna oil. I have some on standby for when he has another but I did not consider daily preventive treatment.

Any thoughts on this?

I have a 14yr old dog which is still in great spirits but has had some issues lately. The ABV oil was made as a topical ointment for skin spots or burns etc... However, since I made it from coconut oil it can be taken internally. I place a teaspoon on her food each morning and I will see how she does with this regimen.

How is your hound now mate? Has he improved? I`d like an update...:pass:

she is still being a pain in my ass, so I guess it's working. We had to have a toe on one of her back feet removed earlier this year due to a ruptured cyst, but she has been doing great.

Thanks bud, a big ol` :karmacloud: heading your dogs` way(and an added :karmacloud: for a good nights sleep f`you and yours! ;) ). :jointman:
