Indoor epson salts question

Hey people, im looking to add some epson salts to my little girls tonight or tomorrow and looking for an amount per litre. I use a 2 litre jug to mix up my nutes so im after an amount to add.
Also i tend to leave the jug out over night with a air pump sat in it, would i be better off adding the epson salts when i add the nuts then ph test or add epson salts to the water now then ph test the water tomorrow and go from there.
Ive got myself in a right muddle reading to many posts and i need some sound advice people.

What medium r u in? If coco u may need a little more than if ur in peat. But u should generaly use a teaspoon per gal.u can add with your nutes or add when u only water. I use calmag but i use every time i water and feed. It all depends on what ur plants are askin for. Just watch them and give them what they ask for all strains are a lil different so just pay attention to what they want and u will be fine. Start with a teaspoo. Per gal n if they ask for more then just try 1 n a 1/2 next watering or feeding just watch how they react and u plants will luv u for it. Good luck bro

View attachment 101692Yeah i kinda had a rethink and put the joint down lol. I have bio bizz alg a mag stuff which has the mg im after. The plants are looking healthy as hell right now which is normal for me around this stage of the ladys life. I only brought the alg a mag when i got my beans for this grow so im guessing this should be enough.
I grow in bio bizz light soil and pretty much following this scedule ive found.
i just hope with this new addition will help with my normal issues i face around week 5 of drastic yellowing.

Yeah i think that ahould do it bro for me thats about the same time my plants start tellin me tgey r gettin hungier for more mag also. So im thinkin ur gonna be all good. Its a plus that u get to skip the epsons if u hate to use em like me. I thinl my plants.have always favored a calmag solution over using epson salts.

Lol im the same. Ive had the espon salts for about a year and used once lol. That was down to me not knowing what yo do. Alg a mag tho sounds good to me. The way i see it is this. Yhe light mix has fuck all in it so im having to use a shit load of nutes compared to a normal mix. Almost 3 times the amount of bio grow im begining to think that the problems ive had is under feeding of N

u should be able to tell if it is N or mag by lookin at new growth. If it is mag u should see yellowing starting from the base of the leaf growing towards the leaf tip on ur new growth. Also if its N it will start at the bottom like mag but with a N def the bottem leF will start to yellow uniformly from the tip of the leaf towards the base or the whole leaf will yellow together uniformly then will progress higher. A mag def from the bottem will still have green viens while the parts inside the viens will yellow kinda lookin like a checker board and with a mag def u should start to see ur leaf edges curl upwards like heat stress. The leaf edges curlin is always my first sign of mag def in my room but every room is a lil different n can cause plants to react slightly differently. U should post some pics for my to check out maybe i can help u a lil better with some good pics. I dont know if u know or not but useong to muck K can lock out mag also so u have to balance it by adding more mag or.lowerin the K also if u r feeding 3 times stronger i would check ur run off to make sure u arent lockin out from high salinity. U should che k ur runoff ph and ppm and post that along with ur pics. If the problem is happening when u go to flowerin nutes it may be from the K being unbalanced with the mag. Post back n let me know how things r goin for u now n ill do my best to walk u through what i can.

There is a chart on nute uptake acording to ph in one of my threads also so u can use it to adjust ur ph to help ur plant uptake sertain nutes it is craving without having to over feed and force them to take in. Maybe just tweakin the ph a lil to make sertain nutes more accesable to the plants as sertain plants may require a little diferent ph so they can uptake the sertain nutea they have a hard time takin in. The only way right now i have of checking run off and my nutes+water is cheapo ph tester so ppm n shizzle is real hard for me. My run off right now is around 6.5. Well it looks the right colour anyway lol.
Ill be grabbing one very soon tho as i hate not knowing whats going on down there. I also have a soil probe that is saying the same.
Ill take some shots now for ya and post them up.
Lil heads up tho. The leafs you see with nute burn was me not doing my home work, giving them a leaf spray with some alg a mag then put them back under lights. Rookie i no but lesson learned lol
