New to intermediate photosensitive grower here, having a bit of botanical fun. On November 6th, I decided to attempt to develop this little cutie into a Bonsai.

At 7 months old, she's doing quite well with new leaves getting smaller each growth. I intend on letting her veg a year and flowering her.

That's stunning, I didn't know you could bonsai them!

Thanks! I had attempted to bonsai other plants before but Cannabis is the most compliant and fastest growing I've tried yet.

She looked like a great architectural masterpiece in renovations for a while there, with string holding branches down here and there.

After about 3 months of being tied down, the branches had hardened. However I do notice them growing more upright again so I'll
be tying down again soon. I need to glue something onto this planter to use. It's incredibly difficult to find Bonsai planters in my city!

I'm going to top her today and try to root the cuttings. What's interesting with that venture is, will they just turn into normal sized plants
if root space is ample? This plant makes botany even more fun!!

This is pretty rad, thank you for sharing this interesting and fun idea. How aggressive are you on pruning the root system? Standard bonsai techniques? I have not done much, but love the aesthetics and have been considering growing photo plants because I really am not all that impressed with auto genetics.

Hey! Sorry for the later reply. I haven't been pruning the roots very aggressively at all. But i think I need to start. The leaves are taco'ing and pushing the upper roots right out of the earth. It looks cool and adds to the aged look, but may not be very healthy for the plant. I need to prune her this week.
