Hey Guys

This is a Blue dream/ diesel Auto that's 57 days old. I'm running Tangs Advanced Nutrients program and wondering if his yellowing on the leaves is just the plant trying to take everything it can. Also can I defoliate the larger fans at this point without stressing it?

The yellowing is totally normal at this stage...and will progress as "fall colors" start in. Go ahead and remove any yellow or dead leaves, as these can cause issues with mold/pests. As for removing the fans...I would say you can get away with removing a few, but I wouldn't go crazy. I'm not really an outdoor grower, but I know most folks that do kind of limit how much defoliation they do, because the plant needs those leaves. Lets see what others say as they chime in. @Weed Warrior got any advice?

Hope it helps:pass:

Hey bud, you ask a good question. Defoliation is a big part of my game. Once they hit flower I start taking leaves, I start with fan go bottom up. You have to weigh both side of it, is that leaf blocking bud from light? If it does it goes. It's like when you're cleaning old stuff out of your house, say do I need this leaf? Lol big fan leaves also use more energy if you keep them. That energy taken from bud growth. So it's a fine line as they say. Dont be afraid to pull a leaf, I've had plenty of bud just underdeveloped because to thick not enough light to fully grow. Then you have fluff. You will fine awesome growers on both sides of this question, so the best advice I can give a new grower is experiment. That's one of the coolest parts of being a grower. Have a question just try it 1 way, next time try the other way. See which way suits you best and that's the right way for you! The best way to know the truth is to give it a try. I say "cut that sucka off, it ain't doing no good if it ain't green" lol.

I'm so freaked out about mold at this point. Its 94% humidity again this morning. FACK! Will be 64% by the afternoon and they're outdoor but it would break my heart to come all this way in a first grow and lose them to mold.

if you outside nothing can be done about the humidity.a big stand up fan perhaps ?
maybe being a tad more brutal defoiling as its a fairly compact bush, will let more airflow over/around buds
good luck n keep er lit
:pighug:
