If you make edibles with butter that has been simmered for hours then put through a cheesecloth could any ha mful heavy metals etc go with the butter alongside the thc?

A mate grows blue gelato41 from barneys farm in bio bizz lite mix with some wormcasting then feeds with shogun bloom and sumo boost and terpinator. He did flush (just water for last few weeks) but the runoff is still 1.2 ec. He is worried the terpinator he used quite heavily could have harmful compounds to ingest in, is this something to worry about?

Electrical conductivity measures salts. Just because something is grown organically doesn't make it less 'dirty' or susceptible to plants accumulating metals.

You can always locate the MSDS files for all the products and determine if there are any heavy metals contained.

From terpinator website.

Just because things aren't grown "organic" doesn't mean they'll test positive for things.

Most of the things that will pop weed on lab tests are things have been sprayed on it in flower. As long as he's using a quality nute line that was DESIGNED for cannabis, he should be fine.
