coconut oil seems to have overtaken butter in terms of popularity.in theory any oil will do from vegetable to olive.

A jelly bean sized portion of coco oil or butter etc just isnt going to have a big effect. Too small a dose.
I would look into decarbed concentrates. A Qwiso or Qwet method performed with decarbed material will be the best way of creating the highly concentrated product that you are looking for.

Lots of folks will use coconut oil and the empty gelatin capsules you can buy through vitamin and other places to make their own little infused oil pills.

Make stronger oil. We use coconut oil and a blunt tip syringe to fill 00 size gelatin capsules and 3 of those babies will set a mellow mood for the day. Just like taking your vitamins in the morning

My last batch was made with a sativa dominant strain, with a short decarb.

great info help thanks all. yes im trying to figure out a edible. I used my vaped cannabis bud only and I put it all in a glass bowl.then added enough coconut oil to cover the herb. I set my glass bowl in a pan of water on the stove stirring for 40min while temp. is slightly boiling water. so I didn't know what to do from here. so I squeezed out the cooked juice through a strainer into a glass pan then fridgerated. so now I have a solid 1/4" thick layer of coconut oil cannabis mix. so I guess I will try to cut a small pill size and test it out. not familiar with edibles so im hesitant.
Add a little liquid lecithin in with your carrier oil and your extracted oil and you'll really potentiate the effect of your cannabis.
