Ec readings

Hello folks. Just started in canna factory buffered coco and clay balls. First run to waste watering, fed to 0.7-0.8 ec, 8 days old. When i tried to read ec run off it was too high for my meter to read. Have i messed up or is that normal at first? Does not feel normal, I thought it was pre done to 0.8 ec, this is my pen.

I use canna coco i flush mine 100% 10LTR before i plant and the reading is always high with run off not by much and you sure your pen is reading right have you callibrate it. Are you using canna clay balls as some cheap clay balls do strange sht to your coco.This is my ppm in flower with coco

the canna coco/clay balls I've always just potted up and off i go also i have tested the run off straight out of the bag and it was quite high also to correctly measure your ec of ppm of you coco is to do a slurry test you would need to google it also you could do as dell says but the canna stuff is pre buffered with calmag etc so that's your high readings but as your running feed through it should even out :smoking: and as i said to you if your plants look ok don't stress over it as these plants grow outdoors left to the environment it tough little fuckers also you will need to calibrate your pen i thought you had a blulab one

Had these from my work. Already paid for them, used them once dor my actual work. Have the ph and tds meter from same mob.
Have calibration fluid and will calibrate again. Read the tap water after and it showed the usual 40ppm?
I think i will chill a little and see how it goes
