What brand(s) of nutes and feeding schedule do y’all recommend? It is a Cal/mag buffered coco coir/ perlite blend medium. One for indica dominants and one for Sativa dominants . Strawberry pie and Mexican airlines Are my next grows. Thank you for your consideration.

I’ve used both General Hydroponics trio line and also their Nova line, with great success. Been using Humbolts secretes line lately and that’s been working for me too.
When I grow my autos on just a 4x4 Grodan block with exposed roots, I will flood my table every 4 hours (6 times a day) for about 5 minutes. I also grow autos on 8x9x3 rockwool slabs and use a 4x4 block on top, which only requires to be watered 2 times a day for about 5 minutes.

I used earth juice seablast series in a ebb and flow kit with great success for years. I used hydroton clay pebbles for my medium though. It's very stable in the reservoir when mixed and warmed constantly. I used a grow flow hydrofarm ebb and flow kit. it was 2 gallon pots instead of a drain table set up. The fertilizer is concentrated so you only need 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water, a 5 pound bag lasted me the entire 10 grows I used it in. 12 plants in 2 gallon pots, 25 gallon reservoir. Flooded 4 times a day for 15 minutes.

Did you use the amounts Per gallon suggested by general hydroponics?

Nope! Probably only half the strength. I never go above 900 PPM and always use a PPM meter as a reference point. If I went off of what the bottle says, I would be way over 1000 PPM, using R/O water.

Ok, maybe you can help me. I understand how to read a ppm meter but I don’t understand how to achieve the target ppm when using 3 nutrient solutions that require a different value per solution . Is there a good tutorial you can recommend . The ones I’ve seen are more complicated than I can understand. I’ve grown some really nice stuff using the ml per gal. recommendations but I want to step up my game and have them reach their full potential. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Mix all three in their per gallon or litre amounts.

Per gallon the label says:
Part A 5ml
Part B 7ml
Part C 3ml

See what the ppm concentration is. Lets say 1500ppm. You want 750? Take the 1500ppm solution and add plain water until reduced to 750. Concentration is less but ratios stay in balance. Easier with R/O 0ppm water. Then pH to where you want it. I believe this is correct but someone feel free to suggest otherwise.

EDIT: Is this what you meant? I may have misunderstood.

Yes… people make it more complicated than it really is.
In general, autos can’t take as much nutrients as photoperiod can. I’ve seen nutrient burn at only 750 PPM in late flower, where photos can handle over 1000. If you are using a 3 part NPK solution, start out at half the strength of what the bottle recommends. You can always add more nutrients if needed, to get your PPM as close to the target range of what growth stage your plants are in. If you are adding additives (PK booster) always account for the extra increase of PPM, to still be in your range.

Yes, you can always mix your nutes per manufactures recommendations, then water it down with R/O to get to your desired PPM range, as long as you account for extra water you might be adding into your reservoir.

I have 18 gallon Resivour. Can I put 15 gallons of pure water in it, Measure ppm. Then take 5 gallons of pure water in a bucket and make 18 gal worth of Concentrated nute solution ,measure ppm and slowly add concentrate until I reach my target ppm in My resivoir. ?
