Quite Pricey But..

It gives me a standardised result. I only have 20 seeds per section there but I would imagine 50 would be okay..per tray

Might use that in the summer...25 germs to a 25 ltr pot..:thumbs:.

Simple..and quite simplistic.
You put water in the tank..it blows water and oxygen over the seeds/germs everytime it goes off.

Water sits on the little seed Ledges..and the rest runs off.

Plug in timer for on/off functions.

You fill the water tank..put them in...set it off..and wait..

Once a week you remove the sprout trays..put cleaning fliud in the tank and run it..and it self cleans..
but you have to give it a wipe out.

I normally bleach the used trays and rinse..but they do go through the dishwasher too..:thumbs:


Also..if you happen to be running a Farm...cough..cough..they are stackable..

Pretty good find Mossy,pretty slick! What would you say average time is to crack seed and throw tails in that thing? Have you had to rough up the seed edges before puttin them in there or just drop and leave'm until they sprout?

Are you using this "strictly" for the germinating process? From the video it looks like a semi "hydro" set-up that can take certain "herbs" right through a grow cycle...??

Yeah...I'm just checking my germ rates after sporadic results on a couple of the girls.
You see the two middle ones are still giving me germ probs.

I Transplanted some of those germs yesterday..but I'm not sure if I can Keep them atm.

I threw radish in on my first Test run..just to see what happened..



Seed took an average of 3-7 days to germ..but we hit a cold dank patch..and my girls are outdoor grown..so take a touch longer that Lighted ones.

I quite fancy growing some wheatgrass after I have re-tested everything..but it will be a while...

Yes, I can see that quite clearly. I wonder if it might be the tray's position in the box. Tray's on the outer edges seem to be more active. And your reference to " sporadic" results...do you mean during the germing process or after they were dirted? A very cool set-up especially for the "farmer"
