The Ratio:

for every butter stick(100g~) use 15g of trim or 8g of buds

The Method:

Boil water & butter till it all melts
Add the trim/buds, put on low heat and keep mixing the whole thing
Wait at least 30-45 minutes while you mix every now and then
strain the epic sauce into a tupperware/container, put in fridge
in 2-3 hours the Canna Butter will separate from the water and will float on top, use it as you please and enjoy :D

All very good tips on the butter thai... the cooker is a great concept too!
I too, have found the butter is very hard to extract... pressing pretty hard is required... I like the ricer idea... hmmm... mom just got one and doesn't like it! :)
I find I lose about a 1/4 lb of butter per 2 lb batch to stuff I cant extract... managed to reduce that with hot water washing through a strainer over a bowl... and then pressing again and then washing again... just re-wet it basically... then press it... recovered another 1/8th lb this way.

Oh and my last round I didn't add water until I was straining... just simmered gently...

Never really used to save trim either... until I realized how much I was throwin out... this years harvest yielded 3-4 lbs of nice "high trich content" trim

It's what I've made my choco, vodka, brownies, oils, hash, everything out of.... it is def worth saving!

yep i can believe that ppl used to throw out shake without doin any research on what u can do with it

Nice stuff. I have always thrown away my trim too, but I saved some after this years guerilla. Next week I have some spare time so I will try to make some butter out of this I think. Would be fun to try to make hash too....... We will see. It will be very exciting since I have never done either before.

It is not as much as it looks, because there are quite a bit of fanleaves and thick stems. I will be surprised if I can get anything good out of it, but look forward to giving it a go. Since ive never done it before I will try something easy. Thats why I liked this recepie

chocos: short ofr canna-chocolate blocks... yummy and great med effect and great buzz

if you're using trim that you think is not that strong.. I'd double your amount or more...

links above.. why to use coconut oil in place of butter (several others including TBM can attest to its benefits and flavor superiority) and I'm sure when you read the posts you'lls ee the health benfits of it over butter or aome other "fat base"

Check it out... enjoy.. :)
