Those are sugar leaves, right? That's a lot of amber but "they" say you shouldn't pay attention to sugar leaves. The buds definitely don't look ready to me, but when I start getting close I usually dry some out and test it.

Fo sho!! I pulled some lowers off of it last week and the smoke was good. Had taste and one hell of a punch, but I agree the need a couple weeks. Too many white pistils still ehh?? Thanks @Rasterman appreciate the experience strength and hope

Leaves to judge trichome readiness may not be as good as checking a bud piece. Leaf trichomes can turn earlier.

No worries. If I'm honest, I'm better at giving that advice than following it. It's like pulling teeth to wait the last couple of weeks, but it's worth it.
