Nice job, im currently testing out dwc for myself, using 5 liter water bottles. How did you start seeds or clones?
I tried seeds in rockwool, its my first time using rockwool, not a big fan, very slow growth 10 days after the seeds sprouted there was no roots coming through the rockwool so i carefully pulled the rockwool apart and put the young seedlings straight in the hydroton.
Its been 2 days since i took them out of the rockwool, they have perked up a bit but still no visable roots through the netpot, its a waiting game now. Next run im going to try rapid rooters instead if the rockwool
They're all pointing the right way tho so no reason they shouldn't be fine. Lets face it Smiffy you just performed major surgery there so a couple of days to recover is a great result

Ha yeah you have a point man. Ur pots look great what yeild did you get of that? How quick would they drink the water and how hard was it to keep the ph in check, all i read online is bigger the res easier to manage the ph.
this is my first attempt n am trying a few types to see how they cope. Im running a thread in tips tricks n knowledge (put it in the wrong place) on this cycle. Im just treating them the same but scaling back nutrients in line with the res. am giving them feeds for a 2 ltr res in mine. my big guns are a few weeks away and theyre doin fine on a normal routine then there are blueberries , grapefruits and a diesel right behind those. they say lots of things but am interested in maxin out my garden with variety. that's why I felt I should post this thread. One myth put to bed so far!:smoking:
hi Smiffy as far as testing your res goes youre testing a ratio so doesn't matter how much water you got in there. am expecting to prove negatives along the way too but its all fun n games eh!
