Day 9
So far the roots are just poking through the cubes. One seems a bit finicky about the low nutes I soaked the cubes in. The others took off well minus the one that popped late. Put perlite on top to prevent algae growth. I’m using a hlg 600w and one 260w for the back 2 girls. Right when I turned on the quantum you could tell they absolutley love it! Trying to get my reservoir right at 5.8 slowly lowering. Had a leak while adjusting a grommet and the eater I added wasn’t ph’d .

Perlite will not prevent algae

It will eventually turn green as well lol

I kinda figured it’s already on the cubes just trying to block the light for a day or 2 until covered with clay pellets Thanks for the heads though I’ll be cutting some panda film squares just to be sure.

Damn that’s a big ole girl. I have my qb600 for 4 of them at about 2.5 sq ft per plant so they may be a bit cramped lol.
