My plants are all dutch passion.

Mars hydro 900 watt LED Grow x 2

4 auto ultimate 40 days old.
Grown in wilma 4 pot system

2 auto colorado cookies 21 days old.
2 auto extreme 21 days old.
Grown in 15ltr dwc

Nutes....AN grow micro bloom.
Big bud
B52
Bud candy
Cannazyme
VooDoo
Overdrive
GTech liquid silicon 6% silica
Canna calMag
Guanokalong

Tap water....left to sit 24-36 hours = 200pm

The 4 plants which are at day 21, at day 10 i started weak nutes
3ml grow
3ml micro
3ml bloom
5ml vooDoo

They started to develop brown spots and also appeared slightly yellow faintly at the edges of leaves and close to the tips.
Now they are 21 days...nutes are.
5ml grow
5ml micro
5ml bloom
15ml VooDoo
10ml cannazyme
3ml calmag.
Ph = 5.5
Ppm = 390 - 410

I added some epsom salt and in a foliar to, which ive been spraying a lite dose daily.
They seem greener but i dont know if ive fixed my issue.
My ph drifts up from 5.5 to 5.9 in 1 day
Or when it was 5.9 it went to 6.4

I know this is any ok drift so it lead me to believe while the ph was 6.4 - 6.5 early stages......i was thinking it could be MANGANESE Deficiency....can anyone help and correct me...advice me etc.
Greatly appreciated.

Looks like magnesium as opposed to manganese

Your using cal mag so should be all good.

The drift may have put you in a little bit of lock out, not sure.

@Waira knows a lot more that I about what gets locked out and at what range.. he's a busy man but should pop in soon if he sees my tag

:toke: AA- I'd say the pH drifts are behind this, making weird mixed symptoms from the fluctuating availabilities,.... what's your water source, it's pH and EC/ppm's? AN is limited in it's capacity to self-buffer, in solution only, and I think it's more about keeping the nute ions in proper chelation over a broader than usual pH range,... if the water is hard enough, it can overwhelm this buffering,.. plus, the plants are altering the pH as well... How much of the Si is going in? That can raise pH as well,... Skip the epsoms, redundant (MgSO4)..... If the water isn't the culprit, I'm not sure why the pH is drifting up like that,... I'll see if a more hydro-savvy friend can offer up possibilities,... @MedGrower ... @Rev. Green Genes @fettled6 .... guys, I see this fairly often, strong steady pH elevation,...

>> :pimp: F6, make yourself useful Mr. Hydro, you know more than this outdoor dirt guy does about this!

--- hydro is a bitchy balancing act to keep pH in that limited range where most all the nutes are readily available,.. drift a little and one mmay improve, while another get dodgy,...:wall:

As @Waira confirms, drift maybe

It is probably the Si or cannazyme raising your pH

I'm trying @Waira !

With hydro you need to work from water source.. just because nute schedule etc. Nah, you might get lucky, might not.

Base water profile (this can take a whole year!) Changes for season, mines good, yours might have issues.

Any nute I use. I test to see what dose does what to my base water individually and in combination before it even gets close to my resi.

Silicon, beneficial bacteria (yes!), Rockwool and metal fittings can cause alkininity.. oh and iron (Fe)

Over complicating your issue but look at the silicon and zyne first!

with a complex cocktail like that I'm not surprised to see fluctuations. My guess is that you have some bacteria living off organics residues that are buffering the pH. This happened to me when I mixed FF nutes into a reservoir. It's a fairly unusual symptom to have it buffer up not down. If it continues to go up like that every day, there not very many options. You can drain and fill with new nutes and water, you can add hydroguard or another bacterial innoculant to battle the residues, or you can continue till the bacterial colony wears itself out. That last one could take a week or two and check daily to add pH adjuster.

that would be the smart way to go about it. I tend to wing it a bit (okay more than a bit) but I have noticed several times when adding camg+ that I get up spikes. This does not make sense to me, but it happens only when I am topping off, not when mixing a fresh batch. So you are RIGHT ON THE MONEY to test like that. The more additives you use the more likely you are to get that unexpected reaction when you add a solution to a solution..

LOL. A solution to a solution....

let me rephrase that proper. When you dilute one solution with another.
