So watered today with nutrient solution until I got some run off. This time I did not alter the solution pH which was 6.8. The run off was 6.2. So 6.8-6.2=0.6
6.2 - 0.6 = soil pH 5.6.
Hydrobeeny reply =
TDog............. you are nearly correct there bro...........
The 0.6 difference you divide by 2 TDog, and add to the run off result. Ie, 6.2 + 0.3 = 6.5................ bang on TDog......
If you think about it, you would not get a 5.6 run off from a 6.8 flush, Tdog,

My soil ph has risen from 5.6 to 6.4 to 6.9. Unfortunately I forgot to write down todays run off

The light mix is low in nute or nute free ?? and looks like it's got coya/cocco in it. Which tends to be on the alkaline side if not pre flushed with ph6.5 before use. if soil ph rises above 7. cal mag and manganese will be decreased in availability.
The plant is looking like it is under fed or N low....Tdog.....
I would suggest if you want to asses nute take up, you check the EC of the run off. Ec 1.2 ? going in........ 0.8 in run off......... = uptake. vice verse
Run off Ec is 1.8-2.1.......... feed is building up in medium. To rectify feed Ec 0.2 untill run off Ec drops. And the plant will use the nute medium reservoir up. Then when run off Ec drops, start feeding 0.8.......... most auto's (mature) wk 7 etc......... can handle upto Ec 1.2-1.3 (Nute Only) not inc "tap Water Salts"......... exceeding this Ec will build soil nute up in the medium, affecting Ph, usually downwards.
Full on tap water contains (Hard Water) contains a high level of salts. upto 0.5Ec or 250-300 ppm of calcium and chloride....... these are usually (Chelated) minerals and build up in soil, causing Ph rise, and can lead to late stage cal/mag lock out.
if you dont have RO water, buffered to 150ppm with tap water (Ideal)...... you can use (Bottled Water)...... the salt content is one third of tap water. I used to use this to great affect, when i first started, as my water here is very hard (Check Kettle !)...........
importantly, low salt content water, dose not need excess (Nitric acid) Ph down (veg), or (P04) Ph down in flower, to get the Ph down from alkaline. To much P04 Phos ph down, in flower late stage leads to "Foxtailing" of flowers as a response to high Phos ph down etc..........
Soil temp needs to be at 21c or above during lights out window 12/12.... not easy this time of year or central winter period, 12/12 window....... low soil temp affects Ph strongly, therefore nute uptake...........
Hope this is of help, to sort you Ph soil issue........ i usually let the auto go at least 85 days, have run em to full cloudy trichs at 100 days......
