Good Morning AFN!

I am entering the very last stage of my current grow and I am having an issue, or at least what I consider an issue.

The fan leaves on my girls are starting to get a light dusting of (dust) and spiderwebs.

Does anyone else have this issue and is it in fact an issue?

What can you do to remedy it?

I am afraid of touch the plants too much as I dont want to dislodge trichromes.

Any experience with this or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Oh, by the way...

While my grow is technically indoors, it is currently exposed to various farm life and such ;) i.e. I grow in a barn LOL

hey bandit , when you say spiderwebs you mean regular insect eating spiders? or those little bastards:finger: spider mites?:peace:

It is really important that you look for insects on your plants. You will need a good sized magnifying glass. The spider mites are usually on the underside of the leaves so turn each leaf over and look for the bugs. They are small about 1/16 of an inch and tend to come in two types. One is yellow with two brown spots on the back. The other are a redish color. My experience is the red ones are real bad news. The yellow ones can be fought off with nymm oil in mix of water. Insecticidal soap works also. Rubbing the leaves down with alcohol also kills them.

First find out if you really have them and prey they are not red. Then we can get into the nitty gritty of getting rid of them. If you have them they can totally ruin your crop.

Good luck

Sounds like spider mites.

Nah not spider mites. I have actual spiders on the plants. Little green ones, brown ones and such.

good! they will eat the leaf eaters!:booya:then when the time comes brush em off!

Yeah I have been fortunate so far with regards to insect pests. I have only had to deal with the four legged and avian varieties....
