hey guys
just chopped down my plants and have them drying in a dry tent 120x60x50, the humidity rises and falls from around 55% to 80%. i have a 4" exhaust with a scrubber and 2 6" fans blowing downwards on the lowest setting for air circ.

question is, are those fans enough or too much?

any help on drying in high humidity would be great.

thanks AFers.

Chop the buds up into individual nodes. This will improve air circulation and limit losses if you do get the dreaded yet predictable mold.
At the first sign of mold you need to change to water or oven cure.

thanks bud. they are all cut and hung to seperate stems

Mold will start between 2 nodes and quickly spread through the stem to the surrounding nodes. Without seperating the nodes you will lose 2 or 3 when you should have only lost 1.

At the very least pull the buds out away from the stem, let the air get in there.

thanks,
will cutting the bud and placing on drying rack help?

i also have a small dehumidifier but the air circ seems too fast for it to affect the humidity. should i turn off fan and just use dehumid?

Yes. Turn it all on and cut the buds to allow better airflow

Fan on
Dehumidifier on
Buds cut and on rack
Check multiple times a day

thanks alot for your help,

ive put fan and dehumid on 24/7 with the setting on 45% on dehumid.

closed most of the passive intake with only a 3.5" hole opened at the bottom of tent as high humidity is due to outside

got my 4" exhaust fan on for 15 min only every hour.

not bothering with the drying rack as im hoping to get the humidity down to 45% with dehumid.

sound good?
