Dropping Humidity Last Couple of Weeks? Fact? Fiction?

I've seen where quite a few people run humidity around 60% through flower and then drop it into the 30-40% range for the last couple weeks to tighten up the buds and increase trichomes/resins. Fact? Fiction? What say ye?

Thanks!!!
all about not wanting mould and losing lots of your tops so high humidity in flower is not your friend

I wouldn't care about humidity unless I saw mold. Never seen it, never cared. my humidity can get fairly high (70s), but I dont have huge buds like some of these guys, I imagine that helps with not getting mold. Seedlings I like to keep higher for first week or so, just so the top soil doesn't dry to fast and cause damage to the plant,

I use VPD charts to decide what RH is ok. 70% may be ok at 30C, but not at 22C. In late flower, I make sure that RH is on the dry side of ideal, and keep the air moving. Keeping the air moving sometimes means removing leaves to open the canopy,

Good luck with it. :pighug:
