Problem:

So I’m about 20 days from sprout. Growing 1 Northern Light and 1 Blueberry - both auto. The NTH is looking great – all leaves “praying” towards the light. The blueberry seems to be putting out leaves at about the same pace as the NTH, but the leaves are all sort of droopy and pointing down, even as they’re growing in. And the leaves are all kind of stacking right on top of each other. Was gonna do some early LST, but everything is so tight I don’t really want to mess with her. Should I just be patient and wait for the stretch to kick in? Or do you think I have a problem that needs to be addressed?

Thanks everyone!

Medium/grow method: I’m in a FFOF/Perlite mix, but plugged the seeds into jiffy starter in the middle of 3 gallon pot.

Feed: and supplements used: One light feed of CalMag and a couple feeds of GH rapid start, no other nutes. But planning to start FF trio this week

water source: PH’d tap

Strain/age: ILGM

light used: HLG 260xl - about 24 inches at 190 Watts

Climate: Indoor tent. Temps mid 70s; RH low 60s

Posted a pic of both plants

Thanks all!

Genes. Look at my perpetual mostly blueberry genetics. They pout. I wondered for awhile what was up too, until I noticed it was just the blueberry genes strains and not the others.

I havent grown many blueberry strains but that coloration looks like its starting at the bottom on one and the other looked like it got hit earlier with whatever deficiency if any are going on.
I should wait to see what other have to say about your plant.
Mid 70s sounds a bit too low temps for me personally ( I keep mine around low 80s max 83 for veg)

How often are you watering them?

Yeah different strains do weird shit. My purple nuggets from Mephisto leaves look like taco shells from the start and still do in flower. Some strains do the weird leaf claw on the tips. Some I have seen twist and turn the tips of the leaves, I've seen some leaves go upside down on some strains. Plants can do some weird stuff with there leaves.

The droopy one is the blueberry; the stretchy one is northern lights. The blueberry has kind of had the droopiness going on since sprout. I'd say I'm watering about every 3 days...letting them both get pretty dried out.

I dont think it's a deficiency that early bud. Have you gotten any water on the leaves when watering? That cause my lower leaves to look like something wrong but it's actually just water that got on the leaf most likely is my guess. Looks pretty healthy to me. Keep doing your thing.
