So after a couple weeks fighting low temps I pulled my head out of my ass and got some heat mats and it's on. A couple DP Auto Mazar's, an Ace Seeds Auto Zamal that will be out next year, and a few of @Fitzy's finest creations. I planned on a 6 plant grow, well it's looking like a 9 plant grow.
Started in 1gal pots, will up pot to 5gal, with FFOF, and going to run Mega Crop all the way to the finish. Maybe a bit of calmag if needed. Simplicity is what I'm going for.

Nice bud I'm excited to see these grow especially with different grow style ect should be awsome I will be watching close for sure sending good vibes and karma ur way.

2 weeks in and I just got my temperatures under control with the pots. I've been fighting the seedling mats in this cold room and finally have the temperatures into the upper 70s around 80. They've been drying the shit out of my soil. But so far so good everybody's healthy I wish they were little bigger than they were but growing in the dead of winter in a cold room makes things tough.

Hey all, I'm about 2-3 weeks in on my grow. Learning a lot with this one. Temp issues are killin me! The germ time was long for all seeds, and they had to be helped out of their shells, most at least. Since then I added heat mats to combat the 65° temps in my grow area. Well....the damn mats are hot! I had 5 folded towels between them and still hitting 90° on the bottom of the pots with the laser temp gauge. i have turned off my heat mats and going alfresco. I can see the seedlings are behind based on my last grow, but I'm just happy they are growing after the looongg start. So if anyone cares, it looks like too hot is just as harmful as too cold, maybe more so? I'm guessing I was cooking my soil and drying the shit out of it.
So, last night I gave my first full watering with 2grams MC. That followed some Recharge. Today they look ok, and I'm hoping they kick it in the ass since they are autos. If not I'll have some seriously small plants, lol. Which would suck since I've got some great genetics in there. Hopefully the cold will slow their flower , it's been known to happen with autos, fingers crossed.
Excuse the ghetto pots, lol, I was popping seeds like crack when they weren't germn', then they decided to pop and grow. So my 6 plant grow is an 8 plant grow. Will up pot to 5 gal in a week or two.

Nice they all look good and you are right the rootzone should be cooler than temp of air in grow space also in winter I spray my emerging seedlings that have helmets and also do domes. Also remember keep humidity 50% or better and 85 ish for germ then I lower temp to 80 and 45% to 55% humidity till flower seems to work well atleast where I am

I used domes until this past week. They were getting too big for want I have. I hoping that giving them some food and lowering the temps will get them going.

So far still slow, except some of fitzys. They are a week plus behind and catching up to the others. And at 5" already stink! Especially the SODK. Lol damn I'm gonna have to address the smell this time around. Learning a lot about temps this time around. The Squatch24 and BT & HubbaSQ are jamming.

Broke down and got a heater to deal with the low temps. Now the sides facing the heater are at 75° give or take and the soil top is showing 69-70°. I can say I've learned a lot. Mid 60's will slow your growth as bad as anything else.
I've also learned that I don't like Fox Farm soil. Yes I know lots of people use it and I'm sure it's great and it might be great for transplant later on. But the Detroit nutrient soil I've used for three of these plants, and mind you this is used soil that I've just added recharge to, are half the age and bigger than the other plants? So the only thing different is a soil , so I tried Fox Farms I'm done with Fox Farms. DNC is more expensive, but I'm ok with that. Oh and the plants that are jamming are all @Fitzy 's strains. They have really taken off.

Awsome dude I'm glad they are growing fast for you, and I can't wait to see them really take off it's also going to be cool to see them grown differently great job so far and mistakes are a good thing bc you will learn much more making ur own mistakes. And as far as foxfarm soil goes I've just mixed up some using the light warrior it's foxfarm seed starting mix and some Coast of Maine and it's rockin better growth from this so far compared to coco which is wat I normally run. The ocean stuff and really all the others I've seen are too hot and one bag may have a 6.5ph and the other 7.5ph so that's why I tried the seed starting stuff from them although I'm thinking doing living organic soil I'm slowly trying out stuff.

Hey bud. I think you'll like the simplicity of the organic soil. Yeah, I knew the FFOF was possibly hot. But I wanted to push these plants. Hell they are resilient plants, we all baby them, but what if you push them? I'm feeding Mega Crop each time I water and they are taking it, no burn, nothing but growth. I fuked them with the cold temps early, that's on me, but now that they are bumped up a bit temp wise I'm hitting them with more light and nutes. So far they are saying " thank you sir may I have another!"...adding double the lights this coming week, thanks to a friend. So even the ones that have "stalled" should flower well. We'll see.
