I have an autoflower on Day 14 on DWC, 4x4 tent, Mars Hydro Sp3000 at 12000 lux, 24/0 schedule. AN nutrients, Sensi Grow, B-52, Voodo Juice. On day 5 i transplanted it to the DWC with an EC=0.75. Then on day 12 i changed the nutrient solution to EC=1.2. Even from the first true leaves i have noticed that the tips of the leaves are curling downwards, a problem that still persists. Searching it online it might be a Nitrogen toxicity issue? Please check the album

First DWC grow and I am using the EC recommendation from RQS website (always on the low end to avoid burning).
Any ideas on the issue? Should I be worried?

The Mylar covering the reservoir is reflecting too much light under the leaves confusing them as to which way to grow. Something white works better Like a thin sheet of Styrofoam.

I don't like 24/0 and use 18/6 for autos. I think 24/0 produces lower quality plants.

Even though I have read so much stuff about indoor growing, I would have never thought of that! Thanks for the tip, I will remove the reflective covering and try to find something white instead.
I have been meaning to change the cycle to something like 20/4 or 18/6 but my understanding was that for the initial weeks it might be better to have the light on 24/0. Will change that ASAP as well, thanks again!

I run my veg lights 24/0 in germination to first true leaves. That is usually the first week to get them all 6 to this stage. It gets complicated when seeds fail and I have to restart in my system. Then I have to decide to stress the young plants or have a stretchy seedling?

I would leave the reflective covering as it will prevent light from getting in the reservoir just cover it with something white.

I see. That makes more sense. I will tape some A4 white papers on the cover. Hopefully it will be enough! Thanks again!
I did have the Same issue with germination. In the tent I have a second plant in day 21 ( CDLC from Mephisto). I had germinated two seeds but the second one failed so I had to germinate another one 7 days later so I had the same problem with light intensity. How many lux do you think I should aim for with a 18/6 schedule in vegitative and flower period?
