Problem: 1 new growth leaf a bright yellow

Grow Method: DWC, 6 in net pots, 2x2 rockwool hydro clay pebbles

Feed: Remo Nutrients line w/ Cyco
Kleanz

Water: Well water ph 7.2 EC 47

Strain/ Age: SS Himalayan Blue Diesel/ day 22

Light: 600watt Kings LED

Additional Info: Kind of wierd only one new growth leaf yellowed. I would be able to identify if multiple leaves were yellowed but only 1.

I see you mentioned pH and EC of plain water but what is the pH and EC of the solution? Must be heavy feeding judging from the dark tone of green.

I remember seeing this kind of symptoms on plants with partially damaged roots so it may just be a bit of that, if it doesn't spread. Lets hope its not some crazy virus.

How are the roots doing down there?

Bright yellow on a young leaf also brings in mind Zinc defiency but with heavy feed and the patchy nature of the spot, I guess its unlikely?

Keep in mind that I am just a hobbyist when it comes to diagnosing plant issues.

I notice you get EC and PPM mixed up. EC is electrical conductivity and PPM is Parts Per Million. Conversion would be as: EC 1 = 500 ppm.

If you are using VeloKelp, the stain on the roots is just that and rest look quite fine. Are you using it? Kelp is messy but ah so good ;)

pH is too low. Get it up between 5.8 and 6.3. I always advice 6.3pH personally but I understand there may be variability on that.

I wish I would be of more help. It may just be an anomaly and stay at that. Lets hope so!

364 ppm

I do run Velokelp but only a little bit and the last water change had none (using as a mist, was worried about nute lock if used as both in Rez and mist)

Ph adjusted 5.94

:yeahthat: ... I was thinking it was from some temporary pH hiccup,... if it's not spreading, you're good!
