Do you use ona gel? Does it affect the smell of your bud?

I read that it is not recommended to put ona gel in the tent or near the tent. I put ona gel on the different end of the apartment like 40 or more feet away from the tent with a wall or two between it. I was smelling the bud that was just harvested and I do not know if it is just my imagination but it smells a lot like the ona gel. I then smelled a plant in the tent and again I do not know if it is just my imagination but it smells a lot like the ona gel. You are not able to smell the ona gel on that end of the apartment so I thought it was far enough away from the tent for it.

Do you think it is my imagination? Has anyone else used ona gel 40 or more feet from the tent and have it affect the smell or taste of your bud or have you had no problems with it on there?

This subjective, but I do use it and it is very strong, like very very strong. If it is outside of your sealed tent and away from it I say you will be good. Before I got my filter system and even now, during harvest I still use. In my 2 story house I will place a small amount like half of an applesauce packet upstairs in my living room and it destroys everything. I have never had any issues with it but the smell does linger. Maybe try removing it and airing out the whole place for a few days and then open your tent and see what you get? I also realize we have become nose blind to the smell of weed. After curing I am always worried my shit isnt as dank as I want it and it seems to have no smell to it. That is until put some in bag and jump in the car...than OMG! I may be wrong on this account as well but I thought that the gel's side effects if in the tent etc, was not the weed smelling like it but rather the weed having no smell due to it absorbing the odor.

what flavour ? only tried linen and arctic.

a glade/airwick thing that gives a squirt every 15 mins pointed at me front door.
Ona gel is quite good/disapears too fast.
Ona block quite good to begin with/disapears too slow.
Ona liquid very good/its concentrated.its meant to be used to top up the ona gel i think.water it down a bit and put in a sprayer or put some in a lil tub i dont like oil burners/they spit.i dont mind aerosol air freshener/i just dont like the taste of it.
i wouldnt put Ona in a tent.but have them scatered about the house.
aslong as the fan never stops,smell should only travel in one direction (is that a pop group?)
probably smelling it off ya hands.blind test,go for a walk round the block.imagination,subjective,subliminal

Chemicals such as ona just make you nose blind. Clearing your "nose sensors" by sniffing coffee beans is a good trick....kinda like washing your hands before taking a leak....

i have it being in the uk if anyone smells anything I'm fucked so i use it outside the room I'm harvesting or even when i have my tent open for long periods just as a backup but you don't want it in the same room as your canna it can make your weed smell funky so I've been told as i keep mine in my hall and i use the fresh linen one

that's the way i use it say in case one of my wife friends comes over or when she's opening the front door as you get nose blind to weed and you cant smell it unless you got out for a while and then maybe you will smell it again when you come indoors so with me its better safe than sorry
