Indoor do i lose from yield if i use cfl at veg?

hi.

i'm preparing a grow with 6 autos. in a tent 0,90x0,90x180 and 400 watt hps.

i'm thinking of using 2x105 cfl (6500k) for the first 2 maybe 3weeks(maybe till the time the first one shows some pistils).i don't want to light the 400 hps over the seedlings or until they grow enough.

am i going to lose anything at the end? what is better? the 210 watts cfl 10-15 cm from the plants or the hps? my inline fan is doing great work so i can also keep the hps 25-35 cm from the plants.. but i think that would be disastrous for my seedlings.

Lots of people use CFL or T5 during the early weeks and the grows turn out fine. If you do use them, I'd recommend putting them more like 5cm from the plants to get maximum effect. That's assuming you don't have heat issues and you are available to check in each day and keep the plants from growing into the lights.
